Personal eras

Era: London

Works composed while living abroad in London for just shy of three years. I was serving as an Artist in Residence at ZKM in southern Germany; spending quite a bit of time there housed in a (possibly haunted) nurse’s dormitory adjacent to the local hospital.

Era: Yale University

Works composed during the years I spent working toward my Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree at Yale University’s graduate graphic design program in New Haven, Connecticut. See also Yale student work.

Era: Google

Works composed during my first “tour of duty” at Google—specifically within Google Creative Lab.

Era: O‑R‑G

Works composed during the years I served as an intern / entry-level designer for graphic design legend David Reinfurt at his O‑R‑G studio. See also o-r-g.com, davidreinfurt.com, dextersinister.org, and servinglibrary.org.

Era: Diller Scofidio + Renfro

Era: University of Connecticut

Works composed during the years I spent working toward my Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree at the University of Connecticut’s graphic design program in Storrs, Connecticut at the turn of the century. See also University of Connecticut student work.

Era: Google Return

I was all-in on Browser-based virtual reality. I returned to Google Creative Lab, then followed my passion to Google’s Data Arts Team. (And this pursuit eventually lead to joining Unity Labs to work on speculative augmented reality interfaces.)

Era: Unity Deux
